SUMMARY:3rd Theoretical & Practical Course of Diagnosis in Thyroid Pathology
DESCRIPTION:Course Directors:\nJosé Manuel Cameselle-Teijeiro\, Ihab Abdulkader Nallib and Manuel Sobrinho-Simões \nCourse characteristics: This is an intensive theoretical-practical course concerning thyroid pathology diagnosis with emphasis on cytological\, histopathological\, immunohistochemical and molecular features. The course is aimed at pathologists-in-training and in-practice\, combining lectures\, slide seminars\, personal observation of 90 cases under a microscope and discussion of these cases. Continuing Education Credits requested from the Spanish National Health System. Official languages of the course will be English\, Portuguese and Spanish. \nVenue: Hospital Clínico Universitario and Facultad de Medicina\, Santiago de Compostela\, Spain. \nRegistration: The registration fee is 300 euros. Registration includes a summary of lectures\, coffee breaks\, two working lunches and a personalized certificate of attendance. The course program may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
