The Collective Labour Agreement<\/a> <\/em>of the Galician Public Foundation IDIS sets out the framework governing the organisation\u2019s relationship with its research staff, specifying the qualifications required and the entry routes established for categories R1, R2, R3 and R4 and for research support staff (CHAPTER II), the rights and duties of contracted staff (CHAPTER III), the types of contract (CHAPTER IV) and the remuneration system (CHAPTER VII).<\/p>\n

Without prejudice to the specific policies drawn up by FIDIS, the collective agreement sets out the framework for staff training, ownership of intellectual and industrial property, protection against gender-based violence, and measures to ensure equality between men and women. In addition to the collective agreement, this section includes plans and procedures that have been developed to facilitate research work and to contribute to the well-being of research staff. The Equipment Catalogue<\/a><\/em> is an essential tool for new staff members, enabling them to quickly identify the technical resources available at the institute. The Knowledge Transfer Procedure<\/em><\/a> sets out the mechanisms to be followed for the protection and transfer of research results, as well as the financial rights arising from their exploitation.<\/p>\n

The protection of pregnant researchers (and breastfeeding mothers) is assessed on a case-by-case basis, but the current procedure<\/a> sets out minimum protective measures to ensure the well-being of the employee, which are implemented immediately once her situation is known. Meanwhile, the Digital Disconnection Protocol<\/em><\/a> guarantees the right of all IDIS staff not to respond to company communications outside working hours, establishing clear boundaries between work and personal life.<\/p>\n
