global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>Objectives<\/h3>\n<p>Our goal is to find new targets for the treatment of obesity and its associated diseases by studying the regulation of endocrine factors or metabolic signals on energy balance and lipid metabolism.<\/p>\n<h3>Lines of research<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Search for new targets for the treatment of obesity: It is intended to initiate a new line of translational research from a very attractive perspective, but at the same time very unknown and innovative, such as the search for molecular links between neurodegenerative diseases and obesity.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Search for new targets for the treatment of liver diseases: Although the group leader has a long history in the field of obesity and metabolism, because the incidence of non-alcoholic fatty liver\/non-alcoholic steatohepatitis is increasing basically due to the large increase in patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes,he decided to start a new line of research complementary to the previous one.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;Equipo investigador&#8221;
