A insuficiencia card\u00edaca representa un importante problema socio-sanitario pola s\u00faa alta prevalencia, altas taxas de hospitalizaci\u00f3n e mortalidade e importantes custos sanitarios. Comprende un grupo heterox\u00e9neo de s\u00edndromes con complexos e a\u00ednda non totalmente co\u00f1ecidos mecanismos fisiopatol\u00f3xicos, e diferente presentaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica e resposta \u00f3 tratamento.
