The Group’s main objectives focus on strengthening the research lines described below, establishing regional (groups from the Galician Health Research Institutes), national, and international collaborations, promoting independent research studies, participating in Phase I clinical trials sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry, and launching four new areas of work:
- Sexually transmitted infections.
- Qualitative research in dermatology.
- Nursing care for dermatological diseases.
- Health education in dermatology.
Through multidisciplinary collaboration with the e-ducasaúde Teaching Innovation Group (service-learning, innovation with ICTs) at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and with the Faculty of Nursing and Podiatry at the University of A Coruña (UDC), the aim is to carry out educational innovation projects in the field of dermatology.
