Isabel Lista García
Managing Director IDIS Foundation
Isabel Lista García has been the Director of the Fundación Pública Galega Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Santiago de Compostela (FIDIS) since 2019, where she leads the Management Unit of one of Spain’s foremost biomedical research institutions.
She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela and has solid specialized training in management, quality, and healthcare planning. She earned a postgraduate degree in Consumer Behavior and Market Research, a Master’s degree in Quality Management with a specialization in the EFQM excellence and self-assessment model, and a Master’s degree in Health Management and Planning for Health Executives from the European University. Additionally, she has completed extensive training in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and management.
Her involvement with the Santiago Health Research Institute (IDIS) began in 2011 as Quality Manager and Coordinator of the Technical Secretariat. Since her appointment as Director of FIDIS, she has promoted management focused on efficiency, internationalization, and sustainability, strategically aligning the Foundation’s actions with the objectives of IDIS and the broader Galician healthcare ecosystem.
She previously held positions as Quality and Social Outreach Manager at the Youth Directorate of the Xunta de Galicia (2005–2006); Quality Project Coordinator in the Psychology, Consumer, and User Unit at the University of Santiago de Compostela (2007–2010); and Quality Auditor in the Spanish Integral Quality System for Tourist Destinations (SICTED) (2004). Prior to that, she worked in market research and field studies (2001–2004).
Her profile combines technical expertise, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to excellence in the management of health R&D and Innovation.
