Objectives and lines of research

Objectives

Our research group focuses on the study of new mechanisms involved in the development of chronic diseases that affect the digestive tract. In particular, we have great interest in the search for new therapeutic targets for inflammatory bowel disease.

Lines of research

  • Characterization and validation of biomarkers for the response to biologic treatments in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Study of inflammation resolution mechanisms.
