Yolanda Pazos Randulfe

Dr. Pazos Randulfe holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Vigo and has extensive research experience at prestigious national and international institutions: University of Amsterdam (Netherlands), University of Vigo, Leiden Institute of Chemistry (Netherlands), University of Santiago de Compostela, and University Hospital Complex of Santiago de Compostela. Since 2008, she has been a tenured researcher at the Galician Health Service (SERGAS), head of the Basic-Translational Research Section of her research group, and a leading figure in the integration of basic, preclinical, and clinical research in the field of digestive system diseases.

Her scientific activity focuses on lines of research with high translational value: identification of biomarkers and new therapeutic targets in chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer, metabolomic, proteomic, and lipidomic studies, as well as characterization of cell signaling systems.
